Together, Let's Grow the Future of Hockey!

Join us for the Junior Rangers Rookie Series, a program specially designed in cooperation with USA Hockey to introduce young beginners to the game of hockey. With help from Rangers Alumni and our staff, your child will experience the fun and excitement of hockey while learning the basic skills needed to enjoy the sport and have success both on and off the ice.

Now that your child has the basics covered, let's take it up a notch! Each player will have the chance to put their skills to the test in a fun and competitive environment. Participants will learn the basic game and team concepts, plus, they will build important characteristics on and off the ice: teamwork, responsibility, and respect. Once a week, for 10 weeks, your child will have the opportunity to play games led by Rangers staff. It is a fun way to meet new teammates and play some hockey!

SPRING SESSION :

Tuesdays Practice 6:15pm-7:15pm

3/12, 3/19, 3/25(Monday 5:45pm-6:45pm), 4/2, 4/9, 4/18(Thursday 6:15pm-7:15pm), 4/23, 4/30, 5/7, 5/14

Sundays Cross Ice Game 1:00pm-2:00pm

3/17, 3/24, 3/30(Saturday 1:00pm-2:00pm), 4/7, 4/14, 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12, 5/19

Your $395 league fee includes:

• 1 game and 1 practice session a week per 10-week season

• No long distance travel as all games are hosted at your local rink

• Guest coaching appearances from NYR Alumni and access to special events

• Junior Rangers team jersey (limited to your first registration)

Format:

The league has been designed to offer families an experience for recreational players. Each week consists of 1 hour of games and 1 practice session per week led by the Rangers Hockey Development Team.
